Since 2005, Daisi Pollard Sepúlveda has competed on the pageant circuit, represented Jamaica, Israel and Yemen in international beauty pageants in the United States, China, Japan, Malaysia and the Philippines. In 2011, Daisi was the first candidate to represent Jamaica in married women's pageants and succeeded Lovern Augustine as the newly crowned, Mrs Ethnic World International in 2012. Daisi's contributions to the pageant industry as a competitor have been unmatched in terms of her candor about the industry and creativity regarding the 'business of being a beauty queen'.

Holding the title of Miss Jamaica International 2005, Daisi began to draw a spotlight on Jamaica-American culture through the eyes of an international beauty queen. While competing in one of Asia' oldest pageants, Daisi forged the way for Caribbean countries to participate in mainland China during the 36th Miss Asia Pacific International pageant. In addition, with almost 90 candidates representing their designated country, Daisi was the first candidate to represent Jamaica at Miss Earth in 2005. During her reign as Miss Beauty Queen World 2005, Daisi's ambition lead her to pursue a double crown. Daisi influenced change by crossing countries to represent Yemen at Miss Asia USA 2006. Daisi's reign was cut short due to a battle with meningitis.
